My old laptop completely stopped working soon after a reinstall having become infected with a few viruses, including Win32:Malware-gen. I'm really worried that my computer can’t come back to the normal state again. Any help?
What is Win32:Malware-gen?
Answer: Win32:Malware-gen refers to a notorious Trojan horse that was which mainly attacks the Windows operating systems. Once getting into your computer, it can infect exe files like wmiprsv.exe, svchhost.exe, d3dupdate.exe and sysinfo.exe, etc and also install unwanted registry entries into your computer. A malware download platform can then be formed by its execution. When your network is connected, the remote hackers will be able to get access into the infected computer, modify the setting, take entire control of it and spread more malware.
