What is LinkWiz
LinkWiz is an extension for Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. On its homepage, you can see its slogan "Get What You're After Faster”. It seems that its application will enhance your browsing experience. However users should note that it is classified as an adware, it brings tons of advertisement instead of convenience.
When you visit normal pages, you will see different kind of ads. These ads are trying to promote the sponsored products and services. You should not click on the ads no matter how attractive they are, because they are mostly linked to dubious sites with poor reputation. You may mistakenly download malware or even trojans to your computer.
LinkWiz may also collect your browsing habit like your preferred sites and recent search terms, and deliver targeted ads to you. That is why the ads it offered are always related to your search key words. What’s more, the information would be leaked out and made used of for commercial purpose. You should watch out that your private privacy is no longer safe as long as you keep this adware on your browser.
