How to Remove Playtopus Adware Completely and Safely

I have this annoying pop up that redirects me to a site called Playtopus.com, this happens on any websites including YouTube and it’s really irritating. What is it? What can I do to remove it? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Brief Introduction of Playtopus Adware

Playtopus adware is clarified as PUP (Potential Unwanted Program) since it can be installed inside your computer without your knowledge and always displays useless ads in your webs. Like many other adware, your computer can be infected when you carelessly open junk mails or click on the suspicious links in some infected webs. Sometimes, it is very cunning. It may come with some freeware which look safe to be downloaded.

At the time Playtopus enters into your computer, it can install new registry entries and files which will consume your memory space. Then your searching engine will be attacked and when you insert it, plentiful commercial ads, coupons, banners generated by Playtopus will keep popping up. If you think they can really save your money as they say and click on the links, you have been tricked.

Playtopus does nothing good for your benefits. First, it redirects you to unsafe webs where your personal information can easily be pilfered by the third party who may probably engage in illegitimate activities. Second, as we mention before, it can install unnecessary files, programs, etc. which will take up large space and lead to poor performance of your computer. Third, more viruses may follow it into yourcomputer since it has created a backdoor for them to get through. Thus, in order to make your computer return to safe state and protect your privacy, it must be eliminated as soon as possible.
